Finally another episode!  In this episode I am joined by a co-host, Daniel.  Check out his work on his website and his YouTube page.

We first talk about some music software.  Notation software: Overture, Sibelius, Finale . . . Sequencer software: Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools, Digital Performer . . . free DirectMusic Producer for MIDI sequencing.

And, of course, everyone should buy Garritan Personal Orchestra!

We then start talking about my piece, The Forgotten Wish.

Thanks for listening, hope you enjoy!  Stay tuned for Part 2, coming soon!  Many thanks to Daniel for co-hosting!

you and daniel are so funny! i kept laughing all the way through! how long have you and daniel known each other? you guys seem really good friends to be able to do a podcast like that or something.

i have a few other comments too…

30 min. shows are fine, but it would be good if you would post them more often, :p

by the way…it may just be me, but it is kind weird to listen to it through earbuds on my ipod when the voices are stationed in the left and right speaker…

i cant wait til the next ep!

great work!

Reminds me of a piece I played in school orchestra a long time ago: “Peanut butter and celli.”

I hadn’t yet taken up the cello, and played the bass, so it was more like peanut butter, 20 violins, one viola and one bass :P

Nice, hope to see another podcast from you.
